Mrs. Helen Whitney is a native from Moultrie, GA and has been a licensed Realtor since 1983. She received her broker’s license in 1992 from Mercer University in Macon, GA. Her family and she owned Southeastern Auctioneers located in Moultrie, GA where she gained valuable experience working with farm auctions that they managed.
In 1998, Mrs. Whitney served as Treasurer of the Moultrie Board of Realtors and in 1999 she served as Secretary of the Moultrie Board of Realtors. She also held positions with public relations, American Home Week, etc. In 2000 she served as President of the Moultrie Board of Realtors and State Director to the Georgia Association of Realtors.
As President of the Moultrie Board of Realtors, she introduced to the board the first multi listing for Moultrie which was internet based and is still in use today. With cooperation from the local newspaper she began "Moultrie Matters" which awarded local businesses and home owners for improvements made to their real estate.
Mrs. Whitney has always sought to educated herself with new laws or ideas in real estate to better serve her clientele base. She is very knowledgeable in commercial, farm, land, building lots, and residential real estate. She has been a top producer for most of her career. She earned a life time million dollar club award before selling in Thomasville, GA. Since the first year of selling in Thomasville she has consistently earned one of the top sales awards every year. This past year she sold over three million dollars of real estate.
